How to import flights?

No, you don’t need OnlyFlights Pro to use the import feature. It’s fully available on the free plan, and you can import multiple files - perfect if you’ve used more than one app before.

However, if some flights from your history are missing and you want to add them manually through the History tab, an OnlyFlights Pro subscription is required.

Right now, we support file formats from App in the Air (AITA) and Flighty. We’re happy to add more apps based on user requests, so feel free to reach out.

Yes, you can import files as many times as you need. This is helpful if you used several apps before or if your first import had issues that were later fixed by the OnlyFlights team.

If OnlyFlights detects duplicate flights that are already in your history, you’ll see them in the import results. Duplicate flights will be skipped automatically.

If your file contains flights that are already in your OnlyFlights history, the app will detect them during import. You’ll see these duplicates in the import results, and they will be skipped automatically to keep your timeline clean and accurate.

If some flights can’t be imported, you’ll see a notification on the import results screen. You’ll also be able to contact the OnlyFlights team directly, and your file will be automatically attached to the email so we can investigate the issue.
Once the problem is fixed, you can import the file again - duplicate flights will be skipped, and only the missing ones will be added.

Please note that OnlyFlights will never share your file with third parties. The file is removed after you confirm that everything has been successfully imported.

At the moment, editing historical flights is not available. However, you can delete any imported flight if needed, or move it to Friends’ Flights instead.
